Colter updates

My poor baby, finally home and on the mend!
Finally home. Colter and the infamous "blanky" the doctors actually let blanky go into surgery with him.
In the Recovery room Colter had both sets of grandparents there to see him.

Poor IV. Colter hated this IV more than anything else I think. He was so happy to get it out.
In recovery. Colter hadn't had any food or anything to drink for almost 15 hours. He was so thirsty!

Wating in to get a room at Primary Children's this was the worst part by far!!!!
Getting ready to go to the OR, his oxygin dropped so I had to lay in the bed with him and hold that mask on his face.

Thanks for posting pictures. I have been thinking about him so much. I wondered what the cast looked like.

I broke my arm just after my 3rd birthday- I was playing in the crib with my little brother and I jumped out and landed on my arm (sound familiar? ironic). My parents heard the snap and came running. I still remember it- I think their very serious reaction caught me by surprise.
I also remember the Dr. Asking me again and again how it happened- in hindsight I know he was suspecting child abuse.
Now it is just a memory- And actually it is not even a bad memory. : )
Give sweet Colter kisses for me.
Love, h

Poor little Colter Bean!! He looks so sad (but really cute) in those pictures. I can't wait to see his miniature hard cast! It's gonna be so cute. :)

I am really glad that the surgery went well and that he is on his way to recovery. Give him a big kiss from his favorite Aunt Nica!

Love you guys!

Those are the saddest pictures. poor Colter. I'm glad he can be home now. good luck with everything. hopefully when she starts to feel better he can milk that cast for all it's worth, that's what I would do.
